Facts about Tigers
Tigers are mammals which belong to the Felidae family.
Tigers live in Eastern and Southern Asia, in places like India, China, Russia, Malaysia, Indochina and several other places in the region.
The best known subspecies of Tigers are the Siberian Tiger and the Bengal Tiger, but there are several other species of Tigers.
Tigers are carnivorous and feed on large and medium sized animals. Like many apex predators, they are opportunistic and their diet ranges according to the place they live.
Tigers will be found in places close to water and that have plenty of prey.
