Saguinus imperator
The Emperor Tamarin is a type of monkey that is grayish in color. They have a distinctive appearance with what appears to be a long white mustache that is going to grow longer as they get older. It is about 13 inches long and has a very long tail. They weigh less than 1 pound.
The Emperor Tamarin is found in the deep parts of the tropical rainforest. They are able to remain well hidden in those areas and their coloring blends in. They are social creatures that live in groups of up 8. They spend a great deal of their time feeding and grooming.
