Syncerus caffer
The Cape Buffalo is a large animal and one that is well known to be very aggressive to humans. They don’t have good vision so when they feel uncertain they are likely to attack. They don’t have thick hair but they do have a very thick body. They can be up to 5 feet tall and weigh about 2,000 pounds.
They have long horns that can look like the shape of a W. These horns are used for fighting and protecting territory. The Cape Buffalo live in large herds and they spend a great deal of time grazing around eating grass. They are native to Africa.
