The Caiman is a very common type of small crocodile. They are often grayish in color with dark speckles around their body. They can reach up to 13 feet in length with the tail being several feet long. They are slow moving on land but can do exceptionally well in the water.
The Caiman is able to swim well due to their webbed feet and their powerful tail that is able to help them navigate. This type of creature hunts at night and that gives them the element of surprise. They consume fish, reptiles, and some forms of birds. They can take on prey that is up to 3 times larger than they are.
