The African Wild Dog is a very common breed used for hunting. They can be up to 30 inches tall and average a weight of 80 pounds. They are common pets around the world but they are still wild in areas of Africa today. They hunt Gazelle, Deer, and Wild Boars.
The African Wild Dog has very long muscular legs. They are strong and have a prominent snout that is round. They have small pointed ears. They are able to survive in the savannah and the mountain regions of Africa. They live in packs that may have as many as 20 members.
