Facts about Sharks
Sharks are one of the most efficient animals that have ever existed.
It has been proved that they have lived for the last 420 million years ago in the
planet.
Modern sharks have been around for 100 million years.
Sharks have cartilaginous skeleton and a streamlined body which combined
make sharks great swimmers.
Shark skin is covered with dermal denticles to provide stronger skin and
improve the speed in water.
The largest Shark is the Whale Shark, which grows to a length of
approximately 12 metres.
